Jal Shakti Department Invites Applications for 10 Para Worker Posts in Ani

Kullu, September 1: The Jal Shakti Department, Jal Shakti Division Ani, has invited applications for 10 posts of Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose Worker. Eligible candidates can submit applications in the prescribed format from September 1 to September 21, 2026.

According to the recruitment notice, four posts of Para Pump Operator, two posts of Para Fitter and four posts of Multipurpose Worker will be filled on a part-time basis, with six hours of work per day.

Para Pump Operator

Four posts are available with a monthly honorarium of ₹7,100. Candidates must have passed Class 10 and possess a recognised ITI certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic. Class 10 pass candidates holding relevant certificates under the government’s Skill Development Scheme will also be eligible.

Para Fitter

Two posts are available, carrying a monthly honorarium of ₹7,100. Applicants must be Class 10 pass and hold an ITI/institutional certificate in Fitter or Plumber. Candidates with relevant certificates under the government’s Skill Development Scheme will also be eligible.

Multipurpose Worker

Four posts are available with a monthly honorarium of ₹6,000. Candidates must have passed at least Class 8 from a school recognised by the State or Central Government.

The age limit for all three categories is 18 to 45 years. The number of posts may be increased or decreased depending on departmental requirements.

Candidates applying for Multipurpose Worker posts must attach a detailed Class 8 marks sheet with their application. If a marks sheet has not been issued by the concerned education board, a detailed marks certificate issued by the school principal must be submitted. Shortlisting and selection, if required, will be based on marks obtained at the middle-school level.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications to the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Ani, District Kullu, by 5 pm on September 21, 2026. The name of the post applied for must be clearly mentioned on the application envelope. Applications received after the deadline or found incomplete will be rejected.

Applicants must also provide their mobile number in the application form. No TA/DA will be payable for appearing in the skill and physical tests.
