HRTC Bus Accident on Bhekli–Biasar Road Leaves 46 Injured
Kullu, August 28: An HRTC bus met with an accident near Katahar on the Bhekli–Biasar road on Friday after it reportedly went out of control and collided with a hillside. A total of 46 passengers sustained injuries in the accident, including 35 women and 11 men.
All the injured were immediately taken to Civil Hospital Kullu for medical treatment. Of the 46 injured, 13 people, including the bus driver, have been admitted to the hospital and are currently undergoing treatment. The remaining injured passengers were provided first aid and discharged.
Additional District Magistrate Kullu Surjeet Singh Rathore said the government is providing all possible assistance for the treatment of those injured in the accident. He assured that there would be no shortage of medical care or other necessary support for the injured.
The authorities are investigating the circumstances and cause of the accident.
