Bishop Cotton All-India Soccer Tournament Kicks Off in Shimla
Shimla, August 22, 2026: The prestigious Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton Memorial All India Inter-School Soccer Tournament 2026 kicked off today at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, bringing together leading school football teams from across India.
The four-day tournament, being held from August 22 to 25, features teams from Bishop Cotton School, Pinegrove School, Genesis Global School, Daly College Indore, SelaQui International School and Rashtriya Military School, Chail.
The tournament provides young footballers with a competitive platform to showcase their skills while promoting **teamwork, discipline, leadership, fair play and sportsmanship**.
The event will conclude on August 25, with prominent football personality Ranjit Bajaj, Director of Minerva Academy Football Club, set to grace the closing ceremony as Chief Guest.
