Five Nauni University Students Selected During PI Industries Campus Placement Drive

Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni organized a campus placement drive for PI Industries Ltd., one of India’s leading agriscience companies, under the aegis of the University’s Placement and Industry Coordination Cell.
The recruitment process was conducted by Dr. Anilesh Tiwari, Area Sales Manager (Himachal Pradesh), Jivagro, a subsidiary of PI Industries Ltd. He interacted with the candidates and conducted multiple rounds of the selection process, including personal interviews.
A total of nine students participated in the placement drive, comprising seven students from the Department of Agribusiness Management, one student from the Department of Entomology and one student from the Department of Fruit Science. Following the screening and interview process, five students were selected for placement with Jivagro based on their overall performance. The selected students are Rahul, Tanya Chaudhary, Sandhya Naganaboina, Mohit Gautam and Sanya Chatterji.
The placement drive was coordinated by Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary, Assistant Director (Training and Placement), with support from Dr. Pramod and Dr. Abhimanyu, who facilitated the smooth conduct of the recruitment process. The successful placement drive reflects the University’s continued emphasis on strengthening industry-academia collaboration and enhancing career opportunities for its students. By facilitating regular interactions with leading organizations, the University aims to equip students with the skills and exposure required to excel in the professional world. The University expressed its appreciation to PI Industries Ltd. and Jivagro for their continued engagement and looked forward to strengthening its association with the company in the future.
