Gaggal Team Wins Dhanotu-Kuthed Day-Night Cricket Tournament

The day-night cricket tournament organised by Shiv Friend Yuva Club concluded at Dhanotu-Kuthed Gram Panchayat, with Gaggal emerging as champions and Dhanotu finishing as runners-up.
Shahpur MLA and Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and felicitated the winning and runner-up teams for their impressive performances.
Addressing the gathering, Pathania said sports promote discipline, brotherhood, and healthy living while playing an important role in steering youth away from drug abuse. He added that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, is continuously strengthening sports infrastructure and facilities across Himachal Pradesh.
During the event, Shiv Friend Yuva Club submitted demands related to local development and sports infrastructure. The MLA assured members that the issues would be addressed in a phased manner.
