Centre Reviews Development Progress in Aspirational Kupvi Block

IAS officer Kritika Kulhari, Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti and Central Prabhari Officer for the Aspirational Blocks Programme, reviewed the progress of development initiatives in Kupvi block of Shimla district.
During a review meeting attended by district and block-level officials, the progress of key performance indicators under the Aspirational Blocks Programme was assessed across sectors including education, healthcare, nutrition, agriculture, infrastructure, financial inclusion, and livelihoods.
Kulhari directed departments to improve performance in areas where progress has been slow and stressed the importance of regular monitoring, coordinated implementation, and timely achievement of targets.
She emphasised better convergence among departments, adoption of innovative approaches, and result-oriented governance to accelerate overall development in the aspirational block.
Officials presented updates on achievements, ongoing challenges, and future action plans, while discussions also focused on resolving implementation bottlenecks.
Kulhari said the programme aims to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last mile through coordinated efforts and effective execution.
