Shimla Administration Reviews Preparations for Vice President’s Proposed Visit

Shimla, July 8: The Shimla district administration held a high-level review meeting to assess preparations for the proposed visit of Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan on July 10, 2026. Chaired by Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap, the meeting focused on security, protocol, helipad arrangements, traffic management, healthcare, fire safety, power backup, sanitation, communication, and disaster preparedness. Officials from all concerned departments were directed to ensure seamless coordination and complete all arrangements in accordance with Government of India and state protocols for the VVIP visit.
