PMMVY Training Workshop Strengthens Digital Implementation

Una, July 8: A one-day training workshop was organized at the District Programme Officer’s Office in Una to strengthen the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY 2.0). Around 65 Child Development Project Officers, supervisors, and Anganwadi workers received hands-on training in online registration, Aadhaar authentication, and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) processes. Technical experts from IPE Global demonstrated the latest PMMVY portal and addressed common field-level issues. Officials said the training aims to ensure timely and transparent delivery of maternity benefits to every eligible pregnant and lactating woman. During FY 2025–26, Una district has disbursed financial assistance to 7,472 first-time mothers and 1,139 beneficiaries for the birth of a second-child girl through DBT.
