1 min readChamba, July 4: The Agriculture Department will conduct a special Farmer Registry (AgriStack) registration campaign across Chamba district from July 6 to 9 under the ATMA Project to ensure maximum farmer enrolment.
Project Director ATMA, Dr. Nitin Kumar Sharma, said special camps will be held at Charda (July 6), Mangla (July 7), Mouhra Panchayat in Tehsil Telka (July 8), and Wanhagal in Bhalei Sub-Tehsil (July 9). A team of experts from Shimla will assist in the registration process.
He urged farmers to register, stating that in future, benefits of Central and Himachal Pradesh government agriculture schemes, including the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, will be available only to registered farmers. Farmers should carry their Aadhaar card, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and land records (Khatauni) for registration.
