A “Funding and Networking Meet and Entrepreneurship Development Programme” for women entrepreneurs was organised at the BDO Office, Chopal, under the Social Inclusion Intervention of the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) project. The workshop aimed to enhance awareness about financial assistance, banking services, government schemes, business expansion opportunities and entrepreneurship development.
The programme was attended by Extension Officer Pratap Singh Sharma, UCO Bank Chopal Branch Manager Anoop Singh, RCT representative Naresh Jaswal and women entrepreneurs Madhu and Ritika. Social Inclusion team members Kritika Sharma and Shikha Kanwar briefed participants on women entrepreneurship, financial inclusion and various government support schemes.
Around 85 participants, including members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), NRLM groups and women entrepreneurs, attended the workshop. The programme concluded with an interactive session where participants discussed challenges and opportunities in women-led enterprises, while speakers encouraged women to leverage institutional support and government initiatives to achieve economic self-reliance.
