Himachal Assembly Employees’ Unions Submit Memorandum to Speaker Kuldeep Pathania

Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Saturday met representatives of officers and employees’ unions of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat in Shimla, where memorandums regarding various demands were submitted.

According to officials, the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat Officers’ Association, led by its newly elected president Beg Ram Kashyap, paid a courtesy visit to the Assembly Speaker at around 11:30 am. All newly elected office bearers of the association were present during the meeting.

The association submitted a memorandum highlighting its demands and urged the Speaker to take appropriate action at the earliest. Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania assured the officials that their demands would be considered sympathetically.

Later, at around 12:30 pm, the Third Class Employees Union, headed by its president Deepak Thakur, also met the Assembly Speaker and submitted a memorandum regarding employees’ demands.

During the interaction, the Speaker said officers and employees are the backbone of every institution and play a crucial role in implementing government programmes, announcements and policy decisions. He assured the union representatives that all reasonable demands would be examined sympathetically.

Office bearers and members of both unions were present on the occasion.
