Eco Dogra TA Recruitment Rally on May 19 in Shimla

As the U.S. Army's primary criminal investigative organization and the DoD's premier investigative organization, the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, commonly known as CID, is responsible for conducting criminal investigations in which the Army is, or may be, a party of interest.
Shimla, May 6: The 133 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Eco Dogra will conduct a recruitment rally on May 19, 2026, at the Jutogh Military Cantonment in Shimla for filling various posts under the Territorial Army.
According to officials, a total of 23 vacancies, including Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), General Duty soldiers and tradesmen, will be filled during the recruitment process.
Ex-servicemen and eligible former women employees of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) as well as the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department are eligible to apply for the rally.
Applicants must fulfil the prescribed medical, physical and character requirements and should have retired within the last five years. The selection process will include physical fitness and proficiency tests.
Officials stated that selected candidates will serve for approximately 8 to 10 months annually as per Territorial Army norms. However, no additional pension or gratuity benefits will be admissible for the service rendered under the engagement.
