Drone Intrusion Mock Drill Conducted in Dharamshala Ahead of IPL Matches

Dharamshala, April 29: In preparation for upcoming IPL matches scheduled in May 2026, the district administration Kangra conducted a second mock drill focusing on drone intrusion and airspace threat at the cricket stadium. The exercise aimed to strengthen security and disaster management readiness for the high-profile sporting event.
EOC Incharge Robin Kumar informed that multiple agencies including the District Disaster Management Authority, State Disaster Response Force, fire services, health department, home guards, volunteers, and education department actively participated in the drill.
The coordinated exercise tested response mechanisms and preparedness to handle potential aerial threats, ensuring safety during the IPL fixtures.
