School Marathon – “Steps that heal the world ” (Classes V to XII)

Date: 18th April 2026
The school successfully organized a vibrant and meaningful marathon for students of Classes V to XII, with enthusiastic participation from parents as well. The theme of the event , “Steps that heal the world” aimed to promote physical fitness, emotional well-being, and the importance of unity and support within the school community.
The presence of parents running alongside their children added a special spirit of encouragement and togetherness to the event.
Participants were grouped into two categories according to their classes. Category I included students from classes V – VIII who started the marathon from the Cecil Hotel to Tara Hall via Fingask.Category II included students from classes IX- XII who started the marathon from The Advanced Studies to Tara Hall via Fingask.Students and parents alike displayed great energy, determination, and sportsmanship as they ran with enthusiasm.
Teachers and volunteers were stationed along the route to guide and support the runners, while first-aid arrangements ensured safety throughout the event. The cheers and encouragement from spectators created a lively and motivating atmosphere.
The marathon concluded at the school grounds, where refreshments were provided to all participants. The Principal gave away certificates of participation to all the participants and Gold ,Silver and Bronze medals to the winners at the concluding prize distribution ceremony that took place on the Gonzaga Terrace.
The marathon was not just a physical activity, but a powerful reminder of the importance of caring for oneself and others. It strengthened the bond between students, parents, and teachers, leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment, positivity, and renewed energy.

2nd Position- SAYESHA RAJ ( 5 TULIP)
3rd Position- AANVI (5 LILY)
Category II : Class VI- VIII
1st Position – SARANJALI CHAUHAN ( 6LILY)
2nd Position- JAISVANI SINGH KANWAR( 6LILY)
3rd Position- SADHIKA SHARMA( 7 TULIP)
Category III: Class IX- XII
1st Position : VAISHANAVI KUTHIALA( 9 ROSE)
2nd Position – SEERAT DULTA( 9 TULIP)
3rd Position- ALIYA SHARMA( 9 TULIP)
