Solan, March 30, 2026:
Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that ongoing government schemes are laying the foundation for future development while inaugurating projects worth ₹7.36 crore in Surajpur panchayat.
He laid the foundation stone for strengthening the Ghanagughat–Kunni Chhibbar–Piplughat road under NABARD at a cost of ₹7.06 crore and also announced a ₹30 lakh livelihood building at Piplughat.
Awasthi emphasized that strong road connectivity is key to boosting mobility and trade, adding that the government is committed to providing better road access to every village. He also highlighted increased MSP for crops under natural farming and higher milk prices to strengthen farmers and livestock owners.
He further underlined welfare initiatives like Mukhyamantri Sukh-Aashray Yojana for orphaned children and announced financial assistance of ₹21,000 each for local Mahila Mandals and youth groups.
The MLA also heard public grievances under the “Sarkar Aapke Dwar” programme and directed officials for timely redressal.
