Glitch Tech Fest 2026 blends innovation, AI insights and high-energy E-Sports at Shoolini University

Shoolini University organised Glitch Tech Fest 2026, a vibrant convergence of technology, innovation, and competitive gaming. The three-day event, held as part of the university’s Spring Fest, brought together industry experts, academicians, and students for an engaging celebration of digital creativity and emerging technologies.
The fest commenced with the inauguration by President Innovation and Marketing, Prof Ashish Khosla, along with distinguished guests including Sheeba Santha, Senior Vice President at Nippon India Mutual Fund, Entrepreneur and Author Sushant Junnarkar, and Social Media Tech Influencers Mohammad Imran and Yash Bhardwaj.
Addressing the gathering, Prof Ashish Khosla highlighted the significance of platforms like Glitch, stating that the festival was not merely an event but an opportunity for students to test their skills in the fast-evolving world of technology and digital innovation. He encouraged enthusiastic participation in competitions such as Valorant, FIFA, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), and Free Fire.
Ms. Sheeba Santha delivered an insightful session on ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence, emphasising the growing importance of human-AI collaboration across sectors such as healthcare, finance, education, marketing, and human resources. She encouraged students to explore emerging technologies and learn through open-source platforms.
A key highlight of the fest was a panel discussion on “Skills in the World of Artificial Intelligence (AI)”, Moderated by Assistant Director, Center for Distance and Online Education, Shoolini University Prof Pooja Verma, the session featured speakers, including Jagjit Singh Vice President Human Resource and Customer Services, Haldiram’s, Sushant Junnarkar Vice President E-commerce, VIP Industries, Colonel Tarun Vohra Vice President and Head – HR, Industrial Relations & Administration, Lumax Industries Limited.
The panelists shared valuable insights on the evolving skill landscape in an AI-driven world. They emphasised the importance of combining technical expertise with soft skills such as communication, empathy, problem-solving, and adaptability. Speakers highlighted that while AI enhances efficiency, human intelligence, emotional understanding, and continuous learning remain irreplaceable.
Prof Ashish Khosla stressed the need for engineers to understand user experience alongside coding, while Jagjit Singh pointed out the value of applying AI thoughtfully to solve real business problems.
In the BGMI competition, Team Young Deserving secured the winner’s position, followed by R2R Esports as first runner-up and Team VFX as second runner-up. In Free Fire, Lake of Fire emerged as winners, with Falcons as first runner-up and Nameless securing second runner-up position. The FIFA tournament was won by Satvik, while Aryan Dhiman finished as runner-up.
In Clash Royale, Mohammad Raaid Hussain claimed the top spot, followed by Pranjal Chauhan as runner-up. The Prompt Wars competition saw Satyam Kumar emerge as the winner, with Anirudh Jaswal as first runner-up and Ipsa Kundu securing second runner-up position.
