The interaction commenced with Prof. Tiratha Raj Singh, Associate Dean (Innovation) and Media In-charge, setting the tone by highlighting JUIT’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation-driven learning, and holistic development. Brig. R.K. Sharma (Retd.), Registrar and Dean of Students, traced JUIT’s evolution from a visionary initiative to a nationally respected institution. He underlined the university’s well-integrated academic ecosystem, state-of-the-art infrastructure, fully residential campus, and a vibrant student life that seamlessly blends academics with co-curricular and cultural engagement.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma outlined a progressive vision anchored in research, innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. He spotlighted key initiatives such as the Directorate of Research and Innovation and the advanced Ramanujan Supercomputing Facility, which are catalyzing high-end interdisciplinary research. He further noted that JUIT students are consistently securing coveted internships and placements in global giants like Google and Amazon, as well as premier institutions including IITs, reflecting the university’s strong industry connect and academic credibility.

Reinforcing its technology-driven approach, JUIT has established a cutting-edge Drobotics Lab dedicated to robotics, drone technology, and artificial intelligence. Demonstrating its growing national relevance, a student team recently qualified for Phase 2 of the prestigious Surya Dronathon 2025, organized by the Indian Army in collaboration with the Drone Federation of India—an achievement that underscores the institution’s focus on emerging technologies.
Accreditations and Global Recognition
JUIT’s pursuit of excellence is validated by its NAAC A+ accreditation with a CGPA of 3.40 and NBA accreditation for its Biotechnology program (2024–2027). The university continues to strengthen its global footprint, being ranked in the 1001–1200 band of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026 and 179 in QS World University Rankings (Southern Asia) 2025.
