Fake Facebook Profile of DC Shimla Reported to Cyber Crime

Shimla,Mar 05: A fake Facebook account has been created using the name and photograph of Anupam Kashyap, the Deputy Commissioner of Shimla.

The matter has been reported by the Deputy Commissioner to the Shimla Police and the cyber crime authorities. Police have initiated an investigation, while the cyber cell is working to identify the person responsible for creating the fake account.

The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to the public and government officials not to trust any messages or monetary requests received from the fake profile and to report such accounts immediately.
