Anganwadi & Crèche Posts Open in Hamirpur

Hamirpur, February 24, 2026: The Child Development Project Office (CDPO) Tauni Devi has invited applications from eligible women candidates to fill vacant Anganwadi worker and helper posts in Patnaun and Pandher panchayats, along with crèche worker and assistant positions at the Brahmani Anganwadi Centre in Bharanang panchayat. Applications must be submitted on plain paper at the CDPO office by March 20 (5 pm).

CDPO Kuldeep Singh Chauhan informed that women aged 18–35 years with at least Class 12 qualification can apply for Anganwadi worker posts, while helpers and crèche assistants require lower educational criteria as per guidelines. Applicants must be residents of the concerned Anganwadi centre’s feeding area and their names should be registered in the family survey register. Family income should not exceed ₹50,000 annually, supported by a valid income certificate.

The recruitment will be based on a 25-point merit system covering educational qualification, relevant experience, social category, special circumstances such as widow or abandoned status, and interview performance. For crèche worker posts, the minimum qualification is Class 12, while Class 10 is required for crèche assistants.

Interviews will be conducted on March 24 at 10 am at the SDM Office Hamirpur. Candidates must appear personally with original documents, as no separate call letters will be issued.
