Missing Minor Girl Traced Safely by Shimla Police

Shimla, Feb 19: Demonstrating swift response and coordinated action, District Police Shimla successfully traced and recovered a missing minor girl registered under FIR No. 12/2026 dated February 15, 2026 at Police Station Sanjauli under Section 137(2) of the BNS. The complaint was filed by a resident of Tehsil Arki, District Solan, after his minor daughter left home without informing family members on February 13.

Following the registration of the case, police teams initiated prompt search efforts and located the girl safely. After completing all necessary legal formalities, she was handed over to her father. During the investigation, it was found that the girl had left home on her own, and no foul play was reported. Further action in the matter is being carried out as per legal procedures.

District Police Shimla has appealed to parents and guardians to maintain a supportive and understanding environment at home, encourage children to engage in positive activities, and stay sensitively aware of their social circles and daily routines. Citizens are also urged to inform local police immediately about any suspicious activity to ensure timely intervention and child safety.
