MSME Entrepreneurs in Kinnaur Oriented on Digital Procurement Platforms under RAMP Programme

Kinnaur, Feb 18: To strengthen the participation of local businesses in government procurement, the Department of Industries, Himachal Pradesh organised a one-day workshop on GeM, CPP and Smart MSME Portals at Club Silk Route Banquet Hall under the RAMP Programme. The session focused on building practical understanding of registration, bidding procedures, compliance norms and digital procurement strategies, helping entrepreneurs improve product visibility and access wider markets.
General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC) Kinnaur, Guru Lal Negi encouraged participants to actively adopt e-procurement platforms to enhance competitiveness and business outreach. Over 68 entrepreneurs attended the workshop, engaging in interactive discussions on leveraging technology-driven systems for enterprise growth. The initiative reinforced the department’s focus on MSME development, digital adoption and ease of doing business in the district.
