NCC Cadets Lead Grand Republic Day Parade at JUIT with Patriotic Zeal

Solan/Waknaghat, Jan 26, 2026: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) marked India’s 77th Republic Day with a disciplined and dignified parade on the university campus, reflecting the spirit of patriotism, unity, and national pride.

The ceremony began at the Swami Vivekananda Statue premises with the unfurling of the National Flag by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rajendra Kumar Sharma, followed by a formal salute by NCC cadets and the collective rendition of the National Anthem.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the importance of discipline, leadership, patriotism and service to the nation, urging cadets and students to contribute actively to the country’s development and uphold constitutional values.

The programme was attended by Lt. (Dr.) Pragya Gupta, heads of various departments, faculty members, security personnel and a large number of students. JCO Sanjiv Kumar from 1 HP Battalion NCC, Solan also graced the occasion.

Adding to the patriotic atmosphere, students presented patriotic songs and poems, celebrating the spirit of the Republic. The event concluded with a group photograph and refreshments, leaving participants inspired and proud.
