Baddi (Solan), Jan 23: Strengthening the message of a drug-free society through youth-led action, IEC University, Atal Shiksha Kunj, Baddi will organise the 5th edition of the BBN Bike Ride, a two-day mega event aligned with Himachal Pradesh Statehood Day and Republic Day celebrations.

This year’s theme—“Say No to Drugs”—places the spotlight on increasing concern over substance abuse among youth and aims to convert awareness into a mass community movement across the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh (BBN) industrial belt.

The rally is being organised in collaboration with Delhi’s “Royal Enfield Riders”, adding an inter-state outreach dimension. As per the plan, the riders will reach IEC University from Delhi on Day 1, while Day 2 will feature a large-scale BBN ride focused on spreading strong public messaging on de-addiction, responsible lifestyle choices and social awareness.

The university will also host student-led cultural performances, anti-drug themed presentations and motivational addresses, making the event not just a ride, but a wider youth engagement programme.

University officials said the initiative is designed to inspire students and the general public to take collective responsibility against substance abuse, while encouraging healthy alternatives such as sports, creativity and community participation.
