Kuldeep Singh Pathania Arrives in Lucknow for 86th Presiding Officers’ Conference

Lucknow:
The Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Kuldeep Singh Pathania, arrived in Lucknow to participate in the 86th Presiding Officers’ Conference, scheduled to be held from January 19 to 21, 2026, at the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Upon his arrival, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana personally received and welcomed him at the airport, extending warm hospitality. Kuldeep Singh Pathania was also accorded a traditional welcome by the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Legislative Assembly staff.
During the conference, Pathania will participate in the Standing Committee meeting and play an active role in finalizing the subjects proposed for discussion across six thematic sessions.
It is noteworthy that the conference will be formally inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on January 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The prestigious conference will witness the participation of Presiding and Deputy Presiding Officers from 28 states. Special invitees include Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, and all Members of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh.
During the course of the conference, Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania will also deliver his address on selected key topics.
