Time-Bound Disposal of Pending FCA Cases Directed: DC Mukesh Repswal

Chamba, Jan 05, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal directed officials to ensure time-bound disposal of pending cases under the Forest Conservation Act (FCA). He was chairing a review meeting to assess the progress of permission-related cases for various developmental projects being implemented in Chamba and Tissa subdivisions.

The DC said the Chief Minister is personally monitoring FCA cases at the state level, and stressed the need for close inter-departmental coordination to expedite clearances. He also reviewed compliance with earlier directions and instructed officers to promptly resolve objections at different levels to avoid delays.
