New Delhi/Shimla, 30 November:
MP Suresh Kashyap met BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda in New Delhi, extending warm birthday greetings and praising his leadership and contribution to public service.
During the meeting, Kashyap discussed organisational matters, welfare schemes and development priorities for Himachal Pradesh. He highlighted the central government’s major push in modernising ITIs and NSTIs across the country, noting that 31 new tech-focused courses — including AI, IoT, Drone Technology, EV Mechanics and 3D Printing — have been introduced to prepare youth for future-ready jobs.
Kashyap said Himachal Pradesh has seen over 64,000 ITI enrolments in three years, reflecting strong interest in technical education. He added that emerging sectors like drone technology, green hydrogen and small hydro power will create new employment avenues for hill districts and help reduce migration.
He reaffirmed his commitment to expanding skill-training facilities in Himachal so that youth can access quality training and job opportunities within the state.
