New Children’s Park Announced for Manjhgran Panchayat

Kangra, Nov 17: Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania on Sunday inaugurated a newly constructed Common Service Centre worth ₹7 lakh in Dramman village of Manjhgran Panchayat. He also laid the foundation stone for the Satyamev Yuvak Mandal Bhawan, to be built at a cost of ₹3 lakh.

Addressing the gathering, Pathania assured residents that all pending local demands would be fulfilled on priority. He informed that directions have already been issued to PWD for the construction of a 900-metre road to Narguien and urged landowners to expedite the process by completing gift deed formalities.

He further announced that the Forest Department has been instructed to prepare a plan for developing a modern children’s park in the panchayat. To address water issues, a new handpump will be installed soon, and funds will be arranged for the community hall. The Electricity Department has also been directed to resolve household power issues promptly.

Zila Parishad member and former Pradhan Neena Thakur welcomed the chief guest and expressed gratitude for the ongoing development works. Senior Congress leader and five-time Panchayat Pradhan D.D. Sharma praised Pathania’s tenure, saying Manjhgran has witnessed unprecedented development under his leadership.
