Pangi, November 06 — In line with Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s announcement on Himachal Day 2025, the Sub-Divisional Administration has invited applications from local youth of Pangi valley to provide them with new livelihood opportunities through the transport sector.
To boost better connectivity and generate self-employment, eligible youth will receive 40% subsidy on the purchase of buses and travellers, along with a four-month exemption on road tax.
This initiative stems from the CM’s commitment made during the state-level celebrations held in Killar on April 15, 2025, aimed at strengthening transportation services across the tribal region while empowering local communities.
Interested applicants from Pangi can submit their forms along with valid identity documents to the SDM Office, Killar on or before November 10, 2025.
This move is expected to significantly uplift the transport infrastructure in the valley while opening new avenues for youth employment.
