Shimla’s Visually Impaired Singer Muskan Negi Shines at International Purple Fest in Goa

Shimla-based visually impaired singer and RKMV College Assistant Professor Muskan Negi set the stage ablaze at the International Purple Fest held in Goa under the joint aegis of the United Nations, Government of India, and Government of Goa.

Her soulful performance of “Jabaan Pe Laga, Laga Re Namak Ishq Ka” had the audience dancing in delight, followed by her energetic rendition of “Jiya Jale”, performed alongside Delhi-based visually impaired band The Shining Stars. The packed hall erupted in applause, appreciating her mesmerizing voice and stage presence.

Muskan Negi was also honoured on the international stage for her outstanding performance. The event, dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities and showcasing their talents globally, witnessed participation from over 25,000 delegates representing 25 countries.

Muskan, who serves as the Brand Ambassador of Umang Foundation, participated in the fest for the first time, making Himachal Pradesh proud with her remarkable achievement.
