DC Directs Submission of LADA Project Reports Within Three Days

Shimla, October 9, 2025 — Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap directed that the actual status reports of all projects under the Local Area Development Authority (LADA) be submitted within three days. Chairing a review meeting, he instructed officials to deposit pending funds related to the Local Area Development Fund at the earliest to ensure the timely implementation of development works and provide relief to affected people.

Discussions were held on projects including Koot Hydro Project, Rajpura Power Project, Luhri Project, and Kol Dam Project. The DC directed project authorities to expedite pending works in affected panchayats. The meeting was attended by ADM (Law & Order) Pankaj Sharma and officials from SJVN, NTPC, and other project agencies.
