Jairam Thakur Slams Congress Over False Guarantees, Extends Festive Greetings

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur accused the Congress government of misleading people with “false guarantees” and questioned the credibility of its ministers in running a “vote theft campaign.” He said the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led government failed to deliver on its 10 major promises, leaving people angry and disillusioned.

Thakur also extended greetings to citizens on Dussehra, Gandhi Jayanti, and Shastri Jayanti, urging them to draw inspiration from the lives of great leaders. Additionally, he congratulated the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on completing 100 years, praising its role in nation-building, education, social service, and cultural resurgence.
