Hindi Fortnight Celebrations Begin at SJVN Corporate Headquarters

Shimla, September 15 – Hindi Fortnight was inaugurated today at SJVN Corporate Headquarters, Shimla under the guidance of Chairman & Managing Director Shri Bhupendra Gupta. Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He congratulated all employees and highlighted the importance of Hindi, calling it not just a language but the soul of India’s culture and civilization.

He emphasized that Hindi connects diverse cultures and communities and is the third most spoken language in the world, which is a matter of pride. Hindi Fortnight will continue till September 28, 2025, featuring various competitions including pure word writing, dictation, poetry recitation, and calligraphy.

On this occasion, senior officials including Executive Director (HR) Shri Chandrashekhar Yadav were present. The inaugural event also hosted a pure word writing competition with participation from 60 officers and employees.
