4,884 Cases Settled in National Lok Adalat, Solan

Solan, September 13: A National Lok Adalat was held today at Solan district headquarters and courts in Nalagarh, Kasauli, and Arki. Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Solan, Mrs. Akanksha Dogra, informed that 12 benches were constituted for the proceedings.

A total of 6,944 cases were listed through pre-lok adalat sittings and benches, out of which 4,884 cases were amicably settled with a compromise amount of ₹19.28 crore. Among these, 5,514 motor vehicle challan cases were taken up, with 3,945 disposed of successfully.

The Lok Adalat was organized under the chairmanship of **District & Sessions Judge, Solan, and Chairman, DLSA, Mr. Arvind Malhotra.
