Schools and Colleges in Banjar & Manali to Remain Closed on Sept 12

Kullu, Sept 11 – Deputy Commissioner Kullu and Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority, Torul S. Ravish, has ordered the closure of all educational institutions in Banjar and Manali subdivisions on September 12, 2025.
The decision, based on reports and recommendations from the respective SDMs, covers schools, DIET, Anganwadi centres, colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, engineering, and pharmacy colleges — both government and private.
The closure has been mandated keeping in view the safety and security of students. Authorities have been directed to strictly ensure compliance with the orders.
