Nahan, Sept 8: District Magistrate of Sirmaur, Priyanka Verma, announced strict regulations for the Shri Mahamaya Bala Sundari Ashwin Navratra Fair at Trilokpur, scheduled from September 22 to October 7, 2025.
The orders prohibit carrying firearms, lethal weapons, and explosives within the Kala Amb police jurisdiction and fair area. Pilgrims are barred from offering coconuts in the temple and consuming or carrying alcohol.
To ensure smooth traffic, trucks and tractors carrying fodder or agricultural produce will not be allowed on the Kala Amb–Trilokpur road between 6 am and 10 pm during the fair.
Additionally, the sale of meat and fish is fully banned in the fair area to respect religious sentiments. Vendors on the road must sell these items only inside shops, behind curtains. Violation of these rules will attract legal action.
