Kullu: Body of Missing Man Found in Parvati River Near Jari

Kullu, Sept. 01 – The body of a missing man from Rashol was recovered from the Parvati River near Jari. Police took the body into custody and handed it over to the family after post-mortem. According to Station House Officer Manikarn Sanjeev Walia, Sher Singh of Jan village, Kullu, informed the police about a body trapped in the river.

Police, along with the fire department team and local villagers, reached the spot and, after considerable effort in the swollen river, retrieved the body. The deceased was identified by his son, Manim, as 60-year-old Bhagi Ram, son of Jindu Ram, whose missing person report had been filed at Manikarn police station. No suspicion or foul play has been reported regarding the incident.
