Approval Granted for ₹28.45 Lakh Expenditure at Kendriya Vidyalaya Hamirpur

Hamirpur, August 29, 2025: A meeting of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) of Kendriya Vidyalaya Hamirpur was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh. The meeting approved the utilization of ₹28.45 lakh under the PM SHRI scheme for construction works and procurement of essential materials.
The DC directed officials to ensure proper use of funds with strict adherence to quality standards. Plans include shifting of transformers, installation of a solar power plant, and rescheduling HRTC buses for students’ convenience. The Health Department will provide sanitary pads to girl students and organize awareness programs.
Future development plans discussed included Balvatika classrooms, a junior science lab, additional classrooms, NCC and guard rooms, footpaths, auditorium, and stadium to be developed in a phased manner with CPWD support.
The DC praised the school’s performance, noting its third rank among 63 Kendriya Vidyalayas under Gurugram Zone, and felicitated teachers for their contributions.
