Heavy Rain Alert: Schools to Remain Closed in Mandi on August 26

Mandi, August 25 – In view of incessant rainfall, landslides, and a Red Alert issued by the IMD, the District Magistrate of Mandi, Apoorv Devgan (IAS), has ordered the closure of all government and private educational institutions, ITIs, vocational institutes, DIET, and Anganwaris on 26th August 2025. However, residential colleges/universities like IIT Mandi and medical institutions will remain functional.
