Pratibha Singh Accuses BJP of Weakening Democracy, Backs Rahul Gandhi’s Allegations

Shimla, August 10 – Himachal Pradesh Congress president and former MP Pratibha Singh accused the BJP of undermining democracy and weakening constitutional institutions. She supported Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of alleged collusion between the BJP and the Election Commission, calling them fact-based and demanding a thorough, impartial probe.

Speaking at the Congress headquarters after a press conference by the All India Congress Committee on alleged fake ballots and vote theft, Singh criticised the Election Commission for “irresponsible conduct” and “succumbing to pressure from the central BJP government.” She said Rahul Gandhi’s campaign aims to protect democracy and stop vote theft, urging party leaders, workers, and citizens to unite in this cause.
