Anurag Thakur Slams Congress for Fabricating ‘Saffron Terror’ Narrative and Rahul Gandhi’s Anti-India Stand

New Delhi/Shimla, July 31: Former Union Minister and MP from Hamirpur, Anurag Singh Thakur, hailed the NIA Special Court’s verdict acquitting all accused in the Malegaon blast case as a victory of truth. He accused the Congress of creating the false narrative of ‘saffron terror’ to appease its vote bank, hurting the sentiments of the majority Hindu community. Thakur stated that Hinduism, rooted in the ideals of peace and “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” can never be linked to terrorism.

He further accused Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, P. Chidambaram, and Sushilkumar Shinde of conspiring to malign Sanatan Dharma and disrespect the faith of the nation’s majority. The verdict, he said, has exposed the anti-Hindu propaganda of the UPA era.

In another statement, Thakur condemned Rahul Gandhi’s comment calling India a “dead economy.” He called Rahul the “Leader Opposing Bharat” and said that during Modi’s 11-year tenure, India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing economies with a 6.5% growth rate, global leadership in digital payments, metro expansion from 5 to 21 cities, and significant poverty alleviation. Thakur advised Rahul to stop opposing India and start recognizing its growth.
