Tree Plantation Drive by Rotary Royal Solan to Promote Environmental Conservation

Solan, July 21, 2025 — Rotary Royal Solan organized a plantation drive in Dharampur Panchayat, planting 200 saplings, including Ban and Deodar trees. President Dr. Kamal Atwal emphasized that tree plantation is the most essential and effective step to save the environment and urged people to celebrate special occasions with plantation drives.

Project Chairman Rajneesh Sood highlighted the lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic, stressing the need for more plantations to ensure oxygen availability. Community members and Rotary officials, including Secretary Manish Tomar and several dignitaries, actively participated in the event.
