HPAS Prelims 2025: 1695 Candidates to Appear in Bilaspur District

Bilaspur, June 28: All necessary preparations for the smooth and successful conduct of the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HPAS) Preliminary Examination 2025, scheduled for June 29, have been completed in Bilaspur district. A total of 1695 candidates will appear for the exam across various centers.

According to Additional Deputy Commissioner Omkant Thakur, 1168 candidates will take the exam at four centers in Bilaspur city — GSSS Girls School, PM Shri MA GSSS Boys (main center), Government ITI, and Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, Raura Sector-2. Another 527 candidates will appear at two centers in Ghumarwin — GSSS Boys and GSSS Girls.

ADC Thakur urged candidates to carry their printed admit cards and arrive on time. Entry will be denied after 9:30 AM for the morning session and after 2:00 PM for the afternoon session. Candidates from remote areas are advised to plan their travel accordingly, as no delay will be entertained.

The HRTC has been instructed to ensure seamless transportation, and private bus operators have been notified. SDM Bilaspur Sadar has been directed to enforce Section 163 of BNSS around exam centers to maintain law and order. Police deployment and uninterrupted power supply have also been ensured.

All center superintendents have been instructed to follow HPPSC guidelines strictly. CCTV cameras, jammers, and alternate frisking arrangements (in case of rain) are being put in place.
