SILB Solan Marks World Environment Day with Cleanliness Drive and Eco Rally

Solan, June 6, 2025 – In celebration of World Environment Day, the Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB), Solan, organized a series of impactful activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.

The event commenced with an inspiring message from Chairperson Mrs. Saroj Khosla, followed by a collective pledge taken by students and staff to “Beat Plastic Pollution.” A campus-wide cleanliness and plantation drive saw enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty, reinforcing the importance of individual contributions to environmental protection.

The highlight of the day was an Eco Awareness Rally themed “Our Earth, Our Responsibility.” Starting from the SILB campus and proceeding to the Old DC Office on Mall Road, the rally featured students carrying vibrant placards and banners emphasizing clean air, water conservation, and eco-conscious living.

The initiative not only mobilized the student community but also engaged the public, encouraging everyone to play a role in preserving the environment. Such efforts reflect SILB’s commitment to nurturing environmentally responsible citizens.
