Three-Day Workshop on Disaster and Crowd Management Concludes in Shimla

Shimla, April 24:
A three-day training workshop on disaster and crowd management concluded at the Savings Hall auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Shimla. The event was presided over by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Rural), Shimla, Mr. Manjeet Sharma, who also felicitated all participants with certificates of appreciation.

On the final day, all participants were divided into four groups and presented on topics including the Summer Festival, Winter Carnival, District Emergency Operations, and Mass Casualty Management Events in Hospitals.

Subject expert Colonel V.N. Supnekar shared comprehensive insights into various aspects of crowd management during the three-day session. The workshop witnessed active participation from departments such as Revenue, PWD, Health, Army, SDRF, Police, NGOs, Information & Public Relations, Fire Services, Home Guards, Civil Defence, Jal Shakti, and temple management committees.
