APG Shimla University Shimla witnessed the pre-Holi celebrations on Wednesday. Every year, the festival of Holi is celebrated with great pomp and show at APG Shimla University. As the university has a four-day Holi break from Thursday, various student organisations celebrated the pre-Holi festival to be held on March 14 with colours and a DJ party. In the campus of APG Shimla University, along with Indian students, foreign students also played colourful gulal on the same stage. During this, the students had a lot of fun with colourful colours and wished each other a Happy Holi by applying colours on each other. In the campus of the university, the students also organised a competition to colour each other with Holi gulal and colours. The administration of APG Shimla University while wishing Holi to the students said that the festival of Holi gives us an opportunity to promote the spirit of unity, love and harmony and the festival of Holi is celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal in APG Shimla University. The students of the university organized various cultural programs on the occasion of Holi, which included songs, rangoli, dance and drama presentations. A DJ party was organized in the football ground of the university and along with the students, the faculty members and staff of the university also participated in this Holi celebration. Everyone was seen dancing to the tune of DJ.
