National Science Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Palampur Science Centre

Palampur, February 28 – The Palampur Science Centre marked National Science Day with great enthusiasm, organizing various educational activities for students, teachers, and visitors. The event aimed to highlight the significance of science in society and commemorate the contributions of Sir C.V. Raman.

The program began with an introduction to National Science Day, shedding light on its inception and Sir C.V. Raman’s pioneering work. A short science film on his life and discoveries was screened, followed by a Science Demonstration Lecture that provided hands-on insights into scientific principles.

An Open House Quiz was conducted, featuring questions on general science, scientific current affairs, and Indian scientists. All participants received bilingual e-certificates for their engagement. A total of 118 students and teachers from Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Jia, and Govt. Middle School, Dalyahu (Hamirpur), along with 12 general visitors, attended the event.
