Ranks Second Nationwide and First in Himachal Pradesh for 60,000 Prakriti Assessments
Mandi, February 24: Abhilashi Ayurvedic College & Research Institute, operating under Abhilashi University, has been honored with the prestigious second prize by the Union Minister of AYUSH, Prataprao Jadhav, at a grand ceremony in Mumbai. The recognition was awarded under the *Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan* for the institution’s outstanding contribution to conducting 60,000 Prakriti assessments.
Among all postgraduate Ayurvedic institutions across India, Abhilashi Ayurvedic College secured the second position nationally and the top rank in Himachal Pradesh. The nationwide initiative by the AYUSH Ministry aims to help individuals understand their physical and mental constitution, promoting a healthier lifestyle through Ayurveda. Speaking at the event, Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav highlighted how the initiative has assisted millions in adopting Ayurveda-based wellness practices, with institutions like Abhilashi Ayurvedic College playing a crucial role in making Ayurveda a household practice.
More than 4.7 lakh volunteers participated in this campaign, significantly raising awareness about Ayurveda. This initiative is a vital step by the government to integrate Ayurveda into mainstream healthcare.
Principal Dr. Divya Deepak expressed gratitude to the faculty, non-teaching staff, and students for their dedication to this achievement. He also extended special thanks to the institution’s leadership for their continuous support.
