State-Level ‘Eat Right’ Fair to be Held in Kangra: ADC
1 min readDharamsala, 4th February – A state-level ‘Eat Right’ one-day fair will be held on February 11, 2025, at the MC Ground in Kangra. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Vinay Kumar shared this information during a meeting at the DC office on Tuesday, where he reviewed the preparations for the event. He explained that the objective of the fair is to raise awareness about clean, safe, and nutritious food.
The fair will feature a variety of local and health-promoting dishes, and there will be awareness activities related to food safety and nutrition. Health and nutrition experts will deliver lectures, conduct food testing, and host other engaging activities. The event will be open to people of all ages, allowing them to learn more about the importance of clean and safe food.
ADC Vinay Kumar further announced that the fair will also include exciting competitions, such as a mini marathon and a cycling race. These activities not only promote physical health but also encourage community participation and sportsmanship.
The fair will also showcase products from self-help groups focused on millets, feature cultural performances, and host a chef competition based on millet products. All concerned officials have been given necessary instructions for the event.
