Tourist Dies in Shimla While Celebrating New Year

A tourist from Kolkata, Anoop Kumar Shah, passed away on Tuesday morning after experiencing chest pain while returning with his family. He had checked out from a hotel in Shimla’s Lakkar Bazaar earlier that day.
The family rushed him to IGMC, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. Following legal formalities, the police handed over the body to his family. The tragic incident turned their festive trip into a sorrowful ordeal.
