Himachal Government Committed to Inclusive Development: Mukesh Agnihotri

Bilaspur, Dec 11: Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri addressed a massive gathering at the Luhnu Ground in Bilaspur, marking two years of the Himachal Pradesh government’s tenure. He emphasized that the government has ensured equitable development for all sections of society, steering the state toward becoming self-reliant and prosperous. Agnihotri highlighted the government’s welfare initiatives and their successful implementation across various sectors.

He stated that the government is focused on resource utilization and economic prosperity while ensuring the welfare of marginalized communities. Criticizing the opposition, Agnihotri accused them of attempts to destabilize the government but maintained that public trust in the administration remains unshaken. He reiterated that the government is committed to transparency and honesty in governance.

Key announcements included the addition of 1,000 new buses to the HRTC fleet, the construction of Asia’s second-longest ropeway in Shimla, and the establishment of a bulk drug park with a ₹2,000 crore budget. The Deputy CM also discussed empowering women through cooperative reservations and ensuring transparency via computerization of cooperative societies.

He concluded by challenging the opposition’s narrative and reaffirming the government’s commitment to fulfilling public aspirations and advancing the state’s development agenda.
